Waveshare PoE HAT (F) – Network connection and power supply for Raspberry Pi 5 with fan and cooling

Waveshare’s PoE HAT (F) is a cover (HAT) that allows Raspberry Pi 5 to connect to the network and receive power (Power over Ethernet) through just a single network cable, in accordance with the IEEE 802.3af standard.

Power over Ethernet
Supports IEEE 802.3af/at PoE/PoE+, which provides power over an Ethernet cable without the need for an additional external power supply

Convenient power outputs

Via GPIO connection – 5V to 4.5A (max)

Via 2-pin (2P) connection – 12V to 2A (max)
Comprehensive coverage allows for a combined 25W.

Isolated power supply
Includes an isolated power supply (SMPS) with an MP8759GD (Buck Converter) controller, which provides high stability and safety in the power supply.

Advanced active cooling
Includes a fast fan and a metal plate (Heatsink) along with thermal pads, to improve heat dissipation and maintain optimal performance even under intensive use.

Expandable via additional HATs
Comes with a standard 40-pin GPIO header, allowing for the connection of additional HATs in parallel.

Compact size
Dimensions: approx. 56.5 × 70.0mm – convenient for installation even in tight enclosures
